If you have been taking medication for a while, your pharmacist can adjust your therapy to fit with your needs and lifestyle even more.
When it comes to medication, the one-size-fits-all approach does not always cut it. Some medication are available in different formats, sizes, flavours and custom dosages based on your personal preferences.
Like your medication, packaging can also correspond to your needs and situation. Your pharmacist can print larger labels and make sure your bottle is easy to open if you have poor motor skills.
Sit down with your pharmacist for a medication review to determine if: Any harmful effects or interactions are caused by combining your medication together One of your medications can be removed from your therapy There is a cheaper medication available
With some adjustments from your pharmacist, side effects can be minimized, harmful drug interactions can be limited and dosages can be decreased in a way that is not detrimental to your well-being. If your medication is out of stock, your pharmacist can make sure that your therapy is uninterrupted by making substitutions accordingly.
